Dr. Dan Spinato is a highly respected chiropractor at San Diego Integrative Spine Center. He founded this practice in July 1984, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to patient care. Originally from the Los Angeles area, Dr. Spinato earned his Doctorate Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College. After working as an Associate Doctor, he relocated to San Diego to open his own practice, a decision that has profoundly shaped his career and life.

Dr. Spinato’s passion for chiropractic care is rooted in his early years. Growing up, his parents emphasized natural medicine, promoting a healthy lifestyle through diet, nutritional supplements, and chiropractic care. While in college, searching for his career path, he felt a powerful calling toward chiropractic medicine. This inspiration led him to San Diego, where he found a perfect office space through a classmate’s suggestion. Since then, Dr. Spinato has been dedicated to serving his patients, transforming their lives by helping them achieve active, pain-free lifestyles.

Over the years, Dr. Spinato has enjoyed the support and trust of his patients, which he considers one of the greatest joys of his career. His professional interests are vast, and he is a member of associations such as Cal Chiro and NUCCA. He believes in continuous learning and has expanded his knowledge over the decades. A highlight of his career has been sharing his insights and skills with his daughter, Dr. Chloé Lightner, who joined the practice in 2022. Together, they are committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through chiropractic care.

Outside of work, Dr. Spinato enjoys an active lifestyle. He has been married for 40 years and has four children and five grandchildren. His hobbies include playing golf, tennis, pickleball, and sailing, which keep him engaged and energized. Dr. Spinato’s dedication to his family, patients, and profession reflects his belief in living a balanced, fulfilling life.

Chloé Lightner, D.C.

Dr. Chloé Lightner is a passionate chiropractor at San Diego Integrative Spine Center, proudly serving the community she grew up in. After earning her degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies, she felt called to pivot her career and follow in her father’s footsteps as a chiropractor. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in 2021, graduating magna cum laude.

Growing up with regular chiropractic care, whole-food nutrition, and a focus on wellness, she experienced firsthand the power of a healthy, balanced body—free from chronic illness and injury. She now brings that same whole-body approach to her patients, helping them live pain-free, active lives. Passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, Dr. Chloé is Webster Certified and provides gentle, specialized care tailored to this unique season. She is also an active member of the ICPA, NUCCA, Cal Chiro, and the Christian Chiropractic Association, and stays current in her field through ongoing education, seminars, and community engagement. She finds great joy in helping others experience the body’s natural ability to heal when it is aligned and supported.

Outside the office, Dr. Chloé finds joy in being a mother, wife, and follower of Jesus Christ. She is actively involved in her church community and leads an active lifestyle—enjoying surfing, skiing, hiking, pilates, and cooking nourishing meals. An avid traveler and endurance athlete, she’s explored over 23 countries and completed multiple races, including a marathon and Half Ironman. Her commitment to wellness, faith, and family is at the core of the care she gives each patient.
